This Carrd is meant to be a easy resource for those who may wish to learn about the Mutliself Idenitiy!Please Note: This carrd is meant to hold infomation, so this includes some infomation relating to Radqueers! However this carrd is is made by a Anti Radqueer, but if Radqueers uses it as a resource that is fine. This Carrd is not meant to be “reclaiming”, this Carrd is just for informational archival in a easy format.
About
Multiself, an umbrella term for any singlet[1]/singlet adjacent being that experiences multiple identities/selves. The term also applies to individual sysmates that share the experience, provided the sysmate/s in question identify as multiself independently from the rest of the collective. Mulitself beings may or may not "switch" between selves, though multiself is explicitly separate from the plurality spectrum and does not describe multiple consciousnesses/distinct people. However it's important to note that SOME parasian[2]/plurallet [3]experiences may fall under the multiself umbrella.Multiself is inherently tied to transids[4] (& identiora[5]) terms, in the sense that selves have their own distinct sets of identiora terms. Though notably, the amount in which the selves differentiate depends on the individual. On one end of the spectrum, one's selves may be extremely different in name, appearance, age, race, gender etc.
History
The term was made by the user multiselves on tumblr September 14th 2024. The user, who is Radqueer, has been open to any identiora terms by those who use it. [Link]This term is used by both Radqueers as well as Anti Radqueers. The maker of the term has stated that they are “anti crediting coiners” due to they don’t believe in the practice being they believe it shows "ownership". The term was made in mind for the sake of everyone and meant to be inclusive of all. They are okay with the term they coined yet not own be used by those who are Anti Radqueer. [Link]Another Anti-Radqueer version of the flag was made by mogainursesoffice on tumblr November 11th 2024. [Link]The Discourse Unaligned Multiself flag by pvpmogai was posted to Tumblr March 28th, 2024.[Link]There are two main archiving users for Multiself terms, one being Multiself Flags Notion witch is radqueer neutral as well as the tumblr blog @multiarchive which is ran by a anti radqueer.

Singlet refers to a person who isn't plural, or in other words doesn't share their body with anyone else.
Parasian refers to medians who are closer to the singlet side of the singlet-multiple spectrum.
A plurallet is a singlet that is plural in some way. This may mean that they are fragmented, their plurality fluctuates, or they feel like they are in between plural and singlet or both at once. (Note: can also be called Syslet)
A TransID person is an individual who uses identities different from the ones assigned to them by society based on their physical body. (not everyone who uses these are radqueer)
Identiora is a term for identities that are not intended to hurt anyone and may be useful to people with atypical dysphoria from any cause. (Such as Dissomei, Desirdae, Intusui, Aldernic, Chronosian, etc.)
